CampuCast was created by two technology employees at a school who were searching for a smarter, simpler way to broadcast morning announcements. They saw firsthand how hard it was for schools to get a professional-looking broadcast on the air without spending a fortune on dedicated equipment.
They identified a clear gap in the market: schools needed a user-friendly, affordable video streaming solution tailored specifically to an educational environment — not a general-purpose tool that required an IT department to figure out.
CampuCast was the answer. By combining Open Broadcaster Studio (OBS) with custom-designed school graphic frames and a rock-solid live stream server, they built a system that any staff member can learn and operate.
